NOMMii had the honor of joining Taiwan Select for an exclusive food trade mission across Canada and the US. This mission, which made stops in Vancouver, Los Angeles and Miami, aimed to spotlight Taiwanese companies with products primed for export to North American buyers.
For us at NOMMii, North America’s rich cultural diversity has always been central to our vision. When we began this journey, we set out to bring authentic Taiwanese flavors to consumers of all backgrounds—making quality Taiwanese ingredients and cuisine accessible for everyone to enjoy.
During the mission, we met with a variety of industry partners who shared our outlook on the market and recognized the demand for products like NOMMii. This mutual understanding highlighted NOMMii as a perfect fit to help fill this market need.
Thanks to Taiwan Select’s organization, the tour offered us valuable one-on-one sessions with buyers, guided tours of local retail spaces with headquarters representatives, visits to major distributors and their warehouses, and even an insightful trip to a winery.
As we wrap up this journey, we’re more inspired than ever to bring the rich flavors of Taiwanese cuisine to North American tables. We’re grateful for the incredible support from Taiwan Select and the connections we’ve made along the way, and we look forward to building on this momentum to expand NOMMii’s presence and share the taste of Taiwan with a wider audience.
